SMALL STEPS AND BIG DREAMS
When I was studying I didn't imagine that I could combine health and fashion in the same footwear, but I did! It all started with my nephew's foot as a mould, by then he worked in fashion, and I wanted to give him soft shoes with which he could take his first steps in the most respectful and natural way. I couldn't find them and decided to make them myself, so the first Mini Shuu Moccs were born in November 2014.
Today we fit many boys and girls, and since 2022 also many women. Because we have shown that you can take care of yourself without giving up your style.
SHUU is a barefoot shoe designed and manufactured in Spain, by artisan hands and high quality materials. A collection of timeless barefoot footwear, which takes care of the health of your feet without you having to give up your style.

Well-being
Barefoot shoes are designed to mimic the feeling of walking barefoot, while providing protection for the foot and respecting its natural shape and movement. They feature a thin, flexible sole, a soft upper, and a wide toe box. And best of all: the most luxurious leather in the world.
Soul and passion
Yasmina, a lover of fashion and shoes, and mother of two little ones. SHUU was born with the MINIS on the Costa Brava in 2014, in her parents' kitchen, with a sewing machine and her nephew's foot as a last. He inspired her to revolutionize the world of Spanish footwear when no one was yet making barefoot shoes.
Handmade in Spain
For the first six years, Yasmina made all the SHUU shoes at home, but demand grew significantly, and in January 2021 she decided to move all production to Villena, the cradle of Spanish children's footwear. It wasn't easy to get people to understand barefoot shoes; no one was making them yet, but she managed to gain their trust.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Why Barefoot?
Barefoot footwear, also known as respectful footwear, is designed to imitate the sensation of walking barefoot, while providing protection to the foot.
Unlike conventional footwear, which usually incorporates support structures, elevated cushioning and narrow lasts that deform the foot, barefoot footwear is characterised by a construction that allows total freedom of movement, a last that respects the natural shape of your foot and a direct connection with the ground.
A shoe that offers a more natural and conscious tread, better posture and free movement and strengthens all the muscles of your foot.
Comfort and well-being, to accompany you every step of the way.
Connection
A thin and completely flat sole, that is, drop 0: same height between the heel and the tip of the shoe. The thin sole allows better sensory feedback of the terrain (propioception) and a more natural tread, improving coordination and the way you move.
Free movement
Flexible, lightweight and a soft upper that adapts to your foot like a glove, respecting all the movements of your foot. Minimal protection and interference with natural movement, which activates and stimulates the strengthening of the intrinsic muscles of the foot.
Stability
The wide toe respects the natural shape of your foot and provides enough space for the fingers to expand freely. Thus achieving a more stable and real footprint, greater balance and better alignment in body posture.
